I do not believe you can "change " your e-mail. You will just have to make a new and seperate one.

You can changed the first part of the address (the part before the @ sign) You can not change the part after the @ sign.

Most ISPs allow you more than one address. Go to their website and check under "Accounts" or "E-mail" (not sure what your ISP will call it) and you can usually create a second account (Usally up t0 5 accounts). Keep the first for regular e-mail (family and friends) and the second for you professional e-mail. You may also want to create an account for "junk" - those times when you have to give an e-mail address in order to download or access something, but you don't really want to give them your address. So give them the junk address.

You can also just create a free at account at Yahoo, MSN, Lycos, etc. without having to go through you ISP. Those free ones are also great for "junk" accounts because when they start getting 6,000 spams a day you can just cancel and create a new one.

See if your provider gives you options to edit your account online. If they give you the option to edit your account, see if there is an option to change or possibly add an email account. Many providers, if you have high-speed internet, will allow you to have multiple email accounts. That way, you can have a work email address and a personal email address.

If they don't allow you to change your account online, you will need to call them. Trust me, they won't mind setting up another email account compared to some of the other calls they get.

Sometimes you can change your e-mail addres through your internet provider's website. However, it's a pretty big change, so I might suggest getting a second e-mail address.

Yahoo, G-Mail, Hotmail, etc. etc. etc. are all completely free e-mail providers that only need internet access to work. I'd suggest creating an e-mail account with one of these.

yes you can... you do not have to call via phone... but you must sign in under your old email and then change... your provider will have step by step instructions on how to do this.

if not start one in yahoo
