Whichever book you choose:
Create an outline. Use a chronological approach (as journeys usually occur chronologically) and pick important points from the journey. Possibly: preparation for the journey; embarking on the journey; a couple of big things from the journey; end of the journey. [Make notes on a sheet of paper for this. When you've got your notes about these points, organize them and re-write them on a blank sheet of paper and space them out a couple of inches from each other, like a big list.]

Think about the plot (storyline). How does the story unfold through the journey? What did the protagonist learn? It's a bit abstract, right? So... now go back to your spaced list and fill in details about the story. IE: preparation for the journey -- main character imagines himself on the road, etc. etc. Fill in about three facts per open space on the list. Sit back and read your list and facts. Now, when you put pen to paper, think about the book that you read and just link all of the concepts that you wrote down in list form.

Don't get too caught up in the length requirement at the outset. You can adjust the content of what you write when you get closer to the end. The essay should essentially write itself from your outline. Good luck!

well, in writing an essay, i found it easier to brainstorm my ideas.writing an essay can be difficult.they are difficult for most because they think way to hard.if, you have read/ research one of the books you listed, i would say write what comes to mind.just make sure you stay with the format of an essay.there are many ways to start an essay.the best way is with a catching introduction, that states what you are trying to get across in the body of the essay.remember don't put to much information in the intro, because in the body you may not have enough info to finish.i am sure you will do find just relax and have fun.

Wow...those books look like crap

i feel bad for you....What i would do is try to look for the plot summary on the internet and just start mumbling about how it effects the story.
