Nuraku has a human mouth but is he another race or a human in disguise?

technically, he's half human, half demon. but being half demon doesn't literally mean "one parent demon, other one human". you only have to have some human in you to be a hanyou (half demon). naraku was born when a whole parade of demons ate a bandit named onigumo, and released his evil heart. kikyou always mentions "onigumo's heart", which is the part of naraku that makes him half human. he is a demon, with a human portion, onigumo's heart.

Inu-Yasha is Half Dog-Demon Half Human
his Mother was a Human
his Father was a Dog-Demon
Inu-Yasha has two forms
1. human form with dog ears
2. fully human
Naraku is Half Human half Spider-Demon
Naraku used to be a Human thief named Onigumo
who made a pact with some Demons with the intent to gain a body so he could win over the heart of the Priestess Kikyo and aquire ownership of the Shikon Jewel as well.
a Spider Demon served as the catalist in the infection of Onigumo. the other demons were used as ingredients in the creation of Naraku's body while the Spider Demon and Onigumo fused to form the mind of Naraku. Onigumo's human heart was the only part the Demons could not corrupt.

Naraku was once a human named Onigumo. He was a thief that was badly injured and tended to in a secret cave by Kikiyo. He was once in love with her, but when he found she did not feelings for him but for Inuyasha, he went into a jealous rage and had demons consume him so he could gain their power, and thus became the demon Naraku.

Naraku used to be a thief named Onigumo but he betrayed his friend and took his army. His friend found out and was really angry and burned down the building he was in. Onigumo was badly burned and Kikyo found him (I think). Kikyo took care of Onigumo and after a while, Onigumo developed feelings for her. He wanted her but first he needed a body. He called demons and told them he would give his soul to them if they would give him a body. The demons did give Onigumo a body, but it wasn't Onigumo anymore. It was Naraku.

nuraku is a half demon. you see, he used to have a body of a human, then a whole lot of demons were stuffed inside of him, making him a half-demon. nuraku's goal is to become a full demon by gaining the shikon jewel. even though, he is a half demon, he is still powerful. naraku has a body of a half-demon, but inside, he still has a human heart.
