They all take animals. You should take your pet to the vet before hand for a sedative to give it before the flight. I gave my dog a blanket that belong to my son...for the scent. Also, the minute you get to baggage claim to pick it up...give it water ASAP. The pet should be fine, if not a little groggy still from the sedative.

Unescorted is not a possibility for any airline. If you are travelling, too, the animal will have to be in an approved travel cage and put in the baggage hold. This is not good for the pet and a lot of pets die shortly after a flight. This is due to stress. The only way of travelling with a pet is by car and even that is very stressful on a long trip and the animal will probably die.

I don't think any will. Even tho they put animals in the baggage compartment, they won't let un accompanied baggage be put on a plane especially since 9/11.
I took my 2 birds with me on a flight the December following 9/11 but I took them as carry on and stowed the pet carrier under the seat in front of me. At that time only Delta would let you do it. I don't know if that has changed. Your best bet is to call a couple of airlines and ask them or go th their website. Good Luck :o)

I think that they all do, but they have to travel in the baggage compartment of the plane.
