Probably. The question is, can *you*?

Are you bright enough to run a search engine? Do you know how to do a telephone book search? etc.

Are you sure he's still there? He doesn't show up a people search of the LLNL site or the Berkeley.edu site. I also searched by topic, in case any old papers were listed on the sites, but couldn't find one.

Searching for "franklin c ford" and physics, and berkeley, and livermore turns up nothing.

If you're sure he went there, try writing to HR at Livermore and the physics department at Berkeley. Don't ask for his current address. Ask that your letter be forwarded to him.
