I don't yet have enough points to vote but I'd like to send my thanks to the ones who helped me most.
The best answers chosen definitely wouldn't have received my vote!

The names weren't showing up when I first went to the site. But now they do.
Go figure!

If you are asking questions, then you can always choose a Best Answer - you shouldn't just let them go to voting!

While asking a question costs you 5 points, choosing a Best Answer gains you 3 points ... letting it go to vote gives you zilch! So, if you ask a question and choose a Best Answer, you only have to answer one question to have paid for your question, so to speak!

To answer your question, though. Yes, if you go back to the questions once they are resolved, you will be able to see the names of the answerers. Click on their names and on their profiles you may or may not see 'Contact ...'. If you do see it, you will be able to send them a message of thanks.

If you don't see the Contact link, please don't just post a 'question' thanking them! That counts as 'Chatting' and is not allowed. Your 'question' will probably be deleted and you may be suspended for that sort of thing. Read the Community Guidelines!

You can edit your comments to add thanks to people.
But is this a question you asked, or one you replied to?
