As of this week there are now 8 planets. It was officially decided that Pluto is no longer a planet.

The problem was the definition of a planet was not very specific. The current scientist got together and refined their definition of a planet. Pluto was treated like a dog.

there is 10
Mercury, Venus, earth, mars, Jupiter, Saturn ,Uranus,Neptune planet x and a weird planet on the other end of this solor system

there is a probe goin out to Pluto it will get there in 10 years so in 10 years time we might find out if it is a planet or not
