All I can say is to see a Doctor as soon as possible!
I have had two hernia operations on one side and still have weaken one on the other side. I don't think your loose bowels has anything to do with your hernia - that is a separate problem and both cases should be looked at separately. But please GO TO SEE A DOCTOR ASP!

Breastfed babies start slowing down their bowel movements after four weeks. It's not abnormal for a breastfed baby to only go once a week or a little longer. My son is 11 months and is exclusively breastfed and only has had bowel movements once a week. You can google it and do the research, there's many websites that talk about it.

It sounds like you need to GET TO A DOCTOR NOW. If the bowel is 'strangulated' you could be in deep doodoo. There are many things obvious to a doctor at first glance...but he has to actually look at it. Your medical history also has a lot to do with it. The exact location of these 'lumps' has more to do with it. Diarrhea may, or may not, have anything to do with these lumps. This forum is not appropriate for serious medical advice. (Maybe for everyday minor 'fixes', etc.) So, get thee hence to a doctor.

Hy_re hernia's don't spread, they grow. And you need medical attention. Dont mess with our help, get to a professional. We are not doctors, we just want to be helpful. If you cant afford a doctor, go to the emergency room. They will work with you financially and medical bills cannot be held against your credit. Please go to a doctor. Nana
