ok, so i was wondering how long it would take for the pill to start working the first time i take it.

I believe you are to take a full cycle before venturing...need to check with the doc.

Give it a few days, your body first has to get used to the new hormones and all, you might have very bad mood swings the first days. I was terrible the first days I was on the pill...damn I was in such a bad mood. I'd give it a little week to make sure. If you're not sure ask your doctor.

In essence, you should not rely on the pill for contraceptive protection for the first two weeks, ideally, or until you have your first normal period after starting.

it usually starts to take effect about 1 month after so your body can get use to the pill so don't have unprotected sex

if you are refering to the BC pill. wait a month after taking your pill like you should before having any sex.
