Ok lets start with gamecube, its really cheap beucase its been out a pretty long time, and its probably the least popular out of PS2 and XBOX. I own gamecube, and I like it. It depends on what kind of games you like. I fyou like shooting or other violent games, its not the system for you, becuase the graphics aren't superb, and some of the fames are more aimed at kids. If you're into Mario-type games, and sports games, like Madden, the gamecube would be great.

The XBOX I also own, and is great for shooting and fighting games, and also sports games. But if you're looking for Mario adventure style games, you're not going to find them for XBOX.

The PS2 probably has the best graphics, but not the best games. If you like games like Grand Theft Auto, this is the one for you. It also does well with sports games.

Overall, I would take the gamecube if you're not looking for violent games.

Also, you mentioned the new nintendo system. Its name is the Nintendo Wii, and its going to be great. Its only going to be about $230 and have better graphics and games than the gamecube. Compared to the XBOX 360 and the PS3, the price is about half of what those systems cost. The Wii is coming out (hopefully) soon. At least by the end of the year. Also, the controller is going to be motion sensored, and really be ablke to get you into the game. If you really can't wait a few months for the Wii, go for the gamecube. Its a good price for a sturdy system thats fun to play.

For more information on the Wii, check out nintendo's website, and somewhere shuold be a link to the Nintendo Wii website.

I would have to recommed that you go to games stores and look at what games are available for each system. Everybody has their favorite systems, but it will all boil down to what games you want to play. Many games are available across all three current systems. Of the three current generation systems available, the Gamecube is the most kid friendly, the PS2 has the biggest library of games, and the xbox has a slight edge in the graphics department as well as online play. The xbox 360 costs more than all these others and has titles you won't find anywhere else until the PS3 debuts in November. If you are not a hardcore gamer you may want to stay away from the newer expensive consoles and get a current generation system. They are all three good systems and have proven their reliability.

i recomend getting a ps2 because its space saving and has great games like ratchet deadlock. but if i were you id pick the playstation 3 since its coming in november youll have to wait but its worth it for 600 dollars you get a wireless controller and a 60 gb hard drive you can play ps2 and ps1 games and play a blu ray disc which is a 25 gb disc that is hd and all this other stuff. in fact the blu ray player is 1000 dollars right now so buy something from the playstation family
try not to buy a xbox 360 because my friend's xbox 360 broke after having it for a month

Get a Xbox, the Gamecube maybe cheap but it only has a very limited amount of must have games. The Xbox is for the more mature audience because it has alot of games that aren't kiddy like.

I'd buy a PS2. Most of the games tht are worth having for PS2, Xbox, or Gamecube are on the PS2. And plus it's the only system with Katamari Damacy!

if your a microsoft fanatic, get a xbox 360 not xbox because thats what everyone of my friends are into the online experience but i prefer a 133 usd ps2 and u can play all the good rpg and other online games out there. its your choice to decide now.

there are adult games in ps2, like socom2 and socom3, grand turismo3 and others like ghost recon just as xbox 360.

I would get the XBOX 360 cause even though there might be more games out for ps3, xbox360 is gonna have more games than ps3 in the future. Also, xbox360 is a better console and more reliabe than the ps3.

definite, the PS3 does have a geared up in Blu Ray participant. I even have the two. Its no longer uncomplicated to assert it is extra effective. The XBOX 360 is easy and comparatively uncomplicated to mod. i found a guy on craigslist who modded the device for $30 and he sells me burnt copies of video games for $10 each. So, while you're ok doing something like that then i might get the 360. in case you will possibly basically sense gentle procuring and taking part in video games legally then i might easily choose for the PS3.
