The movie Pulse which is in theatres in pretty creepy. Not really nightmareishly scary...but there are parts that make you jump!
also, the ring movies were scary

I had nightmares for weeks watching White Noise, but its only scary if you watch it in the theaters. I've never seen it, but a lot of people say "It" is a scary movie that made them afraid of clowns lol.

I thought "Hide And Seek", "The Grudge" and "The Ring (part 1 & 2)" were pretty scary. Hope ya´ll like em. :)

The Sixth Sense.
It is not gory like some scary movies (or at least not much) but it will spook you out, I guarantee it!

In the theaters or on DVD? "Pulse" is in the theaters now, and is moderately scary. "Silent Hill" was just released on DVD, and is one of the more disturbing movies I've seen.

three extremes is a good one the last story is confusing its also in chinese korean and japanese so you have to read subtitles also the eye and they eye 2 are also really scary they are about a chick who gets surgery to fix her eyes then ends up seeing ghosts it also an asian film and the new hills have eyes is good
