Your booty is comprised of two things; muscle and fat.

It's a really big muscle! Exercising it will make it grow a little and give it nice definition and contour.

If the layer of fat around it is too big, you'll just have a big fat a$$.

There's a huge difference between a nicely-toned booty and a big fat a$$ booty!

Work it!

For me I build muscle before I burn fat it seems. I will get bigger before I get smaller. If you are looking to go smaller add more cardio. Walking, jogging, bikes, stairclimber or eliptical trainer. If you want to make your booty bigger do those squats or lunges with more weight and less reps. Hope this helps!

Well..I like my booty small, but if you want to get a "muscular" butt try walking/jogging/running on a treadmill with an incline. Most treadmills will adjust to an uphill climb setting. Doing so will definitely get your booty in the shape that you want it. Also, you can do simple lunges if you don't own a treadmill.

ya know how body builders or people who work out get more toned and larger muscles? ya it's the same thing. if there weren't muscles in your booty, you couldn't walk or even stand, they're actually some of the biggest muscles in your body, many people dont know that because it's mostly fat.

First all the fat goes away so it gets smaller, but exercising makes lots of muscle grow, and your butt gets basically all muscley and biiig.

It is like someone lifting weights with their arms to make their arms bigger.
The only non-surgical way to make a body part smaller is to lose weight all over.

It may make it look bigger, but in all actuality, its getting more definition. I thought the elliptical machine was making my butt bigger, but I asked a trainer and he said I was building muscle. Plus, it makes your butt look a little perky!

I never heard about that, but doing those exercises (squats, lunges etc,) make your butt more toned and firm.
