I would never give up my kids for anything, but after 3 babies my bottom and my hips don't look anything like they used to before I became a mother. I exercise lots, walk, ride a bike, do stair climbing, and, "a-hmm", but nothing seems to reduce those inches around my derriere.

I'm not a mom but I have the same type of figure. If you have a small waist a big hips and butt, sounds like you're curvy. Flaunt it, and make the best of it. Some women end up having saggy breast and big bellies after babies. I just hope that after having kids I can still look that good. YOU GO GIRL!!
If you have health concerns then your exercising should be doing your body good.

keep up the great habit of exercising. even if it doesn't help you get into your former shape, it will help you stay away from heart disease and obesity, and that's what matters.

how are your eating habits? if you really want to lose weight around the areas you mentioned, try giving up potatoes, rice and all the refined carbs on your diet, basically comfort food, because those foods are proven to go straight to the hips and butt. eat a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, avoid sweets and control your portions.

how you exercise is also important. if you want to trim down your problem areas, try more reps but less weight on your weights. this will trim down the fat on your problem areas. doing bigger weights with less reps will give you muscle and will make you look bigger, so avoid doing that. try low-impact exercises like pilates or yoga.

I have a big butt and wide hips from having a child. And proud of it!
