Hopefully because the people that voted for him are finally waking up to realize what a big mistake they made. Bush ( he is not my president) has destroyed the U.S. credibility in many ways. He admitted that Iraq had nothing to do with the WTC bombing, so why are we in Iraq, he said there were terrorists there. He also said there were WMDs there too. He flipflops and lies so much no one can believe one word he says. Then there are PNAC, NWO. The Blue Beam Project etc.........

2nd words for sitting Presidents have traditionally been tougher than the 1st term. yet i think of that for the period of Bush's case, it particularly is a mix of various components, all occurring interior of his 2nd term: a million. His failure to reform Social protection and Medicare to every physique's satisfaction. 2. the complication he had whilst he nominated Harriet Meiers for the suitable court docket. 3. His involvement interior the Terri Schiavo case, to boot using fact the involvement of his brother, Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and the involvement of rather lots each and every stunning-wing conservative in Congress. 4. hurricane Katrina and the government's reaction, or loss of reaction, counting on the form you look at it, to the aftermath, from which human beings are nonetheless convalescing. 5. the modern-day spate of scandals regarding suitable Republicans. 6. the reality that the Iraq conflict has no forseeable lead to sight blended with the President's refusal to make any form of genuine replace in technique, even going so a techniques as to admit that he won't be the single which will able to clean up this and handing it off to the subsequent President on extra beneficial than one occasion.

Second terms for sitting Presidents have historically been harder than the first term. But I think that in Bush's case, it's a combination of several factors, all happening within his second term:
1. His failure to reform Social Security and Medicare to anyone's satisfaction.
2. The trouble he had when he nominated Harriet Meiers for the Supreme Court.
3. His involvement in the Terri Schiavo case, as well as the involvement of his brother, Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and the involvement of just about every right-wing conservative in Congress.
4. Hurricane Katrina and the government's response, or lack of response, depending on how you look at it, to the aftermath, from which people are still recovering.
5. The recent spate of scandals involving top Republicans.
6. The fact that the Iraq war has no forseeable end in sight combined with the President's refusal to make any kind of real change in strategy, even going so far as to admit that he won't be the one who will able to solve this and handing it off to the next President on more than one occasion.

Who determines President Bush's approval rating? Do you think people who are concerned about personal responsibility have time to take pols on the President's approval rating? Where do you hear the President's approval rating? Liberal media? Propaganda by the hate Bush crowd. How about asking the real patriots; the US Military.
But I digress. The lack of expediency of the mission in Iraq, the persecution of our soldiers, throwing away billions of dollars on the Katrina evacuees, the continuance of funding illegal aliens with tax dollars, the open boarder with Mexico, rising gas prices, the acceptance of the Supreme Court's decision on eminent domain, billions of dollars to Africa for AIDS, the non action to N. Korea launching missiles toward our country, the sharing of military secrets with China, the constant appeasal to the Liberal media at his press conferences. Yeah his approval rating should be down. But I believe that if the liberals weren't slamming him soo much on the wrong issues he could have gotten this country in shape for the 22nd century.

Half of Bush voters are not getting what he promised. Ratings are down because he has lied about everything.

Many conservatives are not happy with Bush. He has been spending our tax dollars more wrecklessly than any liberal and he refuses to enforce the border.

Primarily lack of credibility. Case in point, the alledged weapons of mass destruction, which there were no signs of. Federal grants and financial aid for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, who are still awaiting then, because of federal bureaucracy. Bush's lack of credibility is going to bury him.

most of the people who voted for him were "one issue voters" i.e. against abortion and/or gay marriage. they didn't even find out what bush's other ideas/plans were on any other issues and now they are disappointed because HE'S AN IDIOT!!!! (which the educated and intelligent Americans knew from the start...)
