I think Billy Murray would be a good contender. He was hilarious in "Stripes" and "Caddyshack". "Groundhog Day" is a classic, and he even made "Ghostbusters" somewhat watchable. Add on a wonderful performance in "Lost in Translation", and you have an actor that can tackle just about any role. Comedy, Romantic Comedy, Dark Comedy, Drama, and Suspense.

Honorable mention: William H. Macy. The guy is simply a genius.

Robin Williams is so versitile and seems to accept roles that stretch his acting abilities. I liked One hour photo..was a side of him that we don't often see. Dark. And I recently saw his newest film and it was funny yet compassionate too.

Honarable Mention: I really like Patrick Stewart and Ian McEllan, they seem to command the screen with their roles.

First place: Robin Williams and there is no other. He has done everything animation, scary, romantic, comedic, and drama. I can't think of a single movie he has done that I didn't love. Movies such as Good morning Vietnam, Jack, Patch adams, what dreams may come, One hour photo(rated R not for little ones), Birdcage, and My all time fav Mrs.Doubtfire.

Second place:Tom Hanks is right behind Robin williams he was in just about every type too. Big, Polar Express, Splash, cast away, The Terminal, and many more.

Jim Carrey is one of my favorites. He was hilarious in The Mask, Ace Ventura and Liar Liar - very funny back in the day. He also played some great roles in serious movies like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Tom Hanks. He started in comedy and has shown great range as he's progressed to dramas. Hanks is da man.

Hard to believe that the guy from Bossom Buddies and Bachelor Party was in Philadelphia -- but he's a great actor.
