yes, he is your father. If you feel like looking for him in your heart, don't let other people tell you the opposite. We only live once and now is the time. It is never too late to make up for the past. We can not judge anyone for his/her mistakes, only God can. We can only forgive and be understanding. It does not mean you have to be around him if you don't want to, but give yourself a chance. I know it may be hard on you not to know your father. Good luck.

Every person on earth wants to know about his family tree and blood line. Your age indicates maturity and it is not wrong to look for your own father. Especially when one has your own children, it is wonderful to look at the generational genes and family characteristics, such as eyes, nose, dimples etc. Remember to bear in mind that he might not feel the same...you might be dissapointed about your perception of what your father should be, the secret of happiness is to accept him at face value when you see him. Go for it!

i found my dad two years ago, in prison. i feel better just knowing the truth. you'll keep looking. it's human nature to be curious.
