Some of the answers are pretty good but I think "This too shall pass" keeps everything in perspective. What do you guys think?

I think it would have to be "I don't know ..." because too many people are afraid that they would be seen as ignorant or uneducated if they don't give an answer. It takes a brave soul to say that they don't know.

The other alternative would be "What do you think?"

"That depends." That would be my answer to any and all situations. Although, I would probably get myself in trouble very quickly because it would end up being one of those "Who's on First" kinda situations.
