Depends how far you want to travel. Personally I like going up to Lake Erie. They have a lot of shops to look around in. Seafood places to eat at. You can camp (if you are trying to really watch your money), or you can stay in a cabin. I think it's absolutely beautiful up there.

Depends from where you're leaving, the US, Europe, Asia...big towns are great. Like London, Brussels, Amsterdam (not a big fan of Paris lol) and so on.
