my vote is the module under the ignition coils.. all it is, is an electrical switch and they have a habit of going bad..

you could have a bad wire(feeding the coil pack)check the harness. To determine if the coil pack is bad pick up a used coil pack from a junk yard(coil pack's don't go bad often)a coil pack goes bad if moisture got into it,or if it was improperly wound when built either way it would be internal heat dissipation failure.I would pick one up out of the local junk yard for it to replace the dead pack before buying a new one .
I am betting on a bad coil pack or wiring harness having a broken feed to the coil pack it'self and nothing else.
now on the other hand if you have a distributor equiped engine I would change the 4 wired black module inside the distributor that is opposite the pick up coil and reluctor
first before changing the coil in the cap. This black module controls the coil and pick up module as a whole .

Seems you are spending money on needless parts.Have the car towed to a GOOD Buick mechanic, have an engine analysis done, and go from there.
I know,I know the expense, but in the LONG run,you WILL save money!

Oh my gosh, I had that same car and the same problem. We spent over $2,000 trying everything to fix it and it still didn't go. Try to sell it now and someone may think they know how to fix it and buy it for a few hundred. That's about all the advice I have sorry. Best wishes
