Not sure how far along you are...but sometimes you do not miscarry right away if something goes wrong. If you suddenly stopped feeling pregnant, cramps, spotting...etc....call you DR. But, if you are just over the morning sickness period---and waiting for the baby to move---everything is probably fine. I had 3 babies, some time after morning sickness wears off---I always remember getting freaked out and impatient when I was waiting for the first movements. So, for my last pregnancy--I was so tired of the worrying...I rented a heartbeat doppler from http://www.dynamicdoppler.com. Renting it and returning it was simple. I listened to my baby's heart every day...and even kept it around for a few weeks after I started to feel him kick. My husband called me paranoid---but hey, I needed to be stress free. And it was the best money I spent. After awhile, when they do get big enough---all you have to do is poke them and they move. Good luck to you and relax. I know--easier said than done.
By the way, don't waste your money on the Bebe sounds you can buy in the stores. I purchased one for my first pregnancy. They do not work well, especially if you are not far along. If you just want to get to the bottom of things---rent a professional one. I remember I had mine rushed. It was such a relief.

You should add how far along you are for a better answer to this. All I can say with the information you provided is that all pregnancies are different. Sometimes you would bleed if you had a miscarriage and sometimes you wouldnt. Most likly if the babys heart stopped it would not cause you to bleed, at least not for quite sometime. The best way to make yourself feel better would be to call your doctor and make an appointment if you are having any worries.
You may also try going to Wallmart, you can purchase a small listening device called 'Bebe Sounds' and it will allow you to listen to the babys heart beat at home, depending on how far along you are. This can be found in the infants section of wallmart with things such as thermometers and other health care things for babies. It cost around 20.00
Good luck.

Babies have made it for thousands of years and moms to be have worried all that time too. I'm sure your baby is just fine but remember that if you were to miscarry (god forbid) it would be better to have done so than to have a child with some sort of problem that would make life difficult for her. I know that's hard to think of but I also know that worrying wont help. Please try to relax go to some pregnancy sites and read everything you can to get your mind off worrying. Best wishes

It depends how far along in your pregnancy you are. If you are in your second trimester and feel concerned then go with you rgut instinct. Go to your GYN and ask what YOU should be looking for. Every pregnancy is different. No two women will have exactly the same symptoms, or develop at the same time. You GYN can run tests to see if you baby is developing properly and is healthy.

The first thing that I suggest is, BREATHE! Calm Down! Don't get yourself so worked up. Next, do some research online, they have wonderful week by week information on pregnancy and what to expect, what not to expect, etc, etc, etc.
Lastly, if you're still in "freak out mode" go see your Dr or go to the ER to give yourself peace of the mind. Ask them your questions, and they can answer them for you.
Peace be upon you!

the best thing to tell you is go see a doctor if you are worried, its not worth waiting to find out. Most mothers feel their baby or babies around 4-5 months.

How far along are you? Depending on how far along you are will depend on the amount of movement.
If you unsure then you should contact your OBGYN. If you can't wait for that then you should go to the ER.
It maybe nothing at all.
