Too many people just look for a reason to sue. Always want to point the finger. I worked at a hotel, a man at the bar had a heart attack, hotel security wouldn't let the bartender do CPR (he was a p/t EMT) Security said while he is an EMT, at this moment he is a hotel employee, on our time clock. No one would touch the man. Why? Because if someone made a mistake, the family could sue the hotel, the employee, the security guards, etc.
I'm sure some lawyer will take the case, charge the guy with theft, destruction of propety, etc. It's really sad.

The city which abandoned all those people should pay for the boat, after all they refused to use 600 city buses to evacuate people .
And they should put up a statue of Mark .

He took the boat without permission. Yes the boat might have been damaged anyway but that is the same as saying that it is ok to take 20 dollars from a persons wallet because it might have fallen out anyway or I can kill that person because they are dying anyway. He took the boat and for whatever reason, it is stealing.
