I just read the trade paperback, "The Ultimates 2", and near the beginning of the story, it suggests that Quicksilver is in an intimate relationship with Scarlet Witch.

For those of you who don't know, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are brother and sister, the children of Magneto. Did anyone else get the inference that something twisted was going on?

Again, I'm only talking about the Ultimate universe.

If you ever read the old original stories of the Marvel Universe, there seemed to be something odd about the "brotherly love" in this relationship that seemed to border on obsession.

In Ultimates and the Ultimate Universe, this has been further insinuated, and seems to give Wanda and Peitro an air of classic European decadence.

Lets face it, in any universe, they have always seemed a bit odd. With Quicksilver hanging around the Inhumans and Scarlet Witch being married at one time (and having children with) a talking vibrator or whatever the heck the Vision was.

Quicksilver and his twin sister, The Scarlet Witch, are often depicted touching each other intimately and engaging in activities with romantic overtones (e.g., a gondola ride in which Quicksilver reads love poetry to his sister), which has led to fan speculation that the two share an incestuous relationship.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit, thanks to Mark Millar. That is the vibe I got fom seeing them together as they are. It is a bit creepy, but so is Millar.
