Personally, I haven't given up any "right," to speak however I want, whenever I want. If I am politically correct it's strictly coincidence. I do use the word black, but that's more a courtesy to black people because that's apparently how they prefer to be refereed to. Otherwise, I don't use the word Latino, I don't refer to people as "this challenged" or "that challenged." I think that's a crock, and most of the time I don't know "what challenged" someone is. If others feel obliged to be politically correct, more power to them. For myself, I'm not running for office and, as yet, I haven't offended anyone.

Politically correct simply means to not offend other people. ...why would that be difficult.... and not speaking freely... and not being honest with yourself.

I just wonder what kind of person finds this so hard to do?

Honesty hurts sometimes but if asked my opinion I will give it freely. I would not give up my right to free speech. I would rather be honest than politically correct.

A more interesting question is how many people have given up thinking freely because they believe it is more correct to blindly follow a religion rather than being honest with themselves.

You can still be honest and also be PC. For example, if I were to think that fat people gross me out (which I don't), I can try to say it in a polite way like "I don't prefer the company of weight-challenged people". I mean, it is the same thing, but only more PC.

I speak my mind quite frequently and don't care about political correctness. I do know and understand that my freedom of speech must also respect other peoples freedoms as well.

Actually I have become stronger in becoming outspoken and truthful in my opinions now then ever before.

But why then does yahoo remove my answers as hate?

They are totally honest and have no political correctness to them.
