Hi, id like to get some animal that is usually killed for food and take care for it as my pet. However, i will go to university in 2 years time and i wont be able to care for it than. So, is there some farm animal whose NATURAL life span is about 2 years?

Mice and hamsters live for 1-2 years and are easy to care for. Rats live 1-3, guinea pigs around 5-7, parakeets up to 12, turtles up to 50+, chickens can live 5-8 years. Most barnyard type food animals have lifespans of 10 years or more. If you are looking for a larger animal try a trio of wool breed lambs. You will not have a hard time placing them when it comes time for you to move on, and they are generally very rewarding to care for. You can also try a milk goat, or small game hen type birds such as quail and pheasants. I raised button quail when I was in high school and they were a lot of fun! They are roasted whole and served as an appetizer in some countries, so they would fit your exact criteria... and you can raise them indoors in a dry aquarium with full spectrum lights.

hamsters live approximately 2 years with proper care.
Rats live 2-3 years with proper care.
Gerbils 5-7.
Guinea pigs about 8.
Rabbits as long as guinea pigs.
of all of these, some have been known to live longer lives..so I wouldn't get a pet at all if you aren't willing to give it a home for the rest of it's life. It's unfair to the animal.

A rat, maybe? I had one when I was in high school and he was just as sweet as could be. He used to sleep in my bra. lol. But, he was unusual and lived for 9 years. When I graduated, my parents gave him to my cousin's elementary school and the kids took care of him and made him a class pet.

Hamsters aren't generally considered farm animals but their lifespan is about that long.

Rats they are so sweet and they live for 3 years at most. Males are calmer than females, but they are all sweet!! I love ratties!!

Hmm...

If it's very healthy, a guinea pig will suffice. Hmm...Two years...

Other than that, a turtle, or something like it. There aren't that many animals who are used for meat and live only two years. I wish I could help more.

I know your intentions are good, but this has to be one of the strangest questions I've ever heard. I have no idea.
