It was on Channel 4 last Monday at 9pm. It was a Cutting Edge documentary called "Cult Killer". It was very disturbing.

I don't know what country you're in but I saw a show about it a while ago, not a documentary mind.
Dr Phil did a show about people who escaped that cult. I believe they've been disbanned since.

Some unfortunate former members were on Dr. Phil last Friday, I think. Really creepy.
If there is another special to be shown I haven't heard of it, but would like to see it.

The 'family' sounds like Charles Manson's group. There was a book about them called "Helter Skelter". Could that be it?
