***I HAVE NO INTENTION OF ACTUALLY DOING THIS****

Assuming the compartment the hamster was in has padding and is noise resistant and the rocket has a good parachute, could the hamster live, would the G force be to much. Has anyone ever tried this before?

My brothers did. However it was knock out during the flight, but recovered.

My brother was so disturbed that he might have hurt his pet that he never sent it for an other flight.

The hampster, or any other biological cargo, surviving would depend on the motor being used.

Don't do it as it is illegal. Not only cruelty to animals but also against BAFTE rules, and National Association of Rocketry rules.

You would also have no insurance coverage if the rocket did some damage to property while being used.

The **big** question is could a model rocket survive a trip with a hamster in it? Or would it get so badly unbalanced from all the hamstershit that it would crash?

Why don't you TEST DRIVE IT yourself...simply SIT on the ROCKET and BLAST AWAY!
IF you have no intention then why ask it?
Bloody git...
SOD OFF!

Hamsters are fragile creatures and should not be TOYED with in such a way there is no reason to do this.
NONE!
What does it prove either way?
Most likely it would die from a heart attack.

The answer is yes, and it was done before, under the watchful eyes of the humane society and a veterinarian was on stand by. I don't know when or were this was done but I read about somewhere.

I hope this helps

Yes, It could. maybe not fun for the hamster, and any girls that hear about it will freak out. Too bad you don't want to try, I'd like to hear about the results.

The astronauts and Cosmonauts already proved this, and survived, mostly. Only a few died from the sudden stop.

Mythbusters did something similar with an egg. It didn't do so well.
