The Burberry store in NYC makes custome-made trench coats...does anyone know what the starting price is? I know that depending on what materials you choose, type of lining, etc... the price will vary, but does anyone know what the "low end" of the price range is? Also, if I were to buy a non-custom-made coat, do they offer tailoring service?

no, I'm not rich...just looking for something of good quality that fits well. I'm not opposed to buying off the rack and having it tailored...does anyone know of any stores that do that? I only asked about Burberry b/c I know that they do custom work...I don't really care what store/brand it is. PS- I'm not fat :(

If you are aware of and considering Burberry, you probably are blessed with the financial means to not have to ask the question. You can buy a lovely Trench in many places in NYC. If you are looking for custom made due to sizing issues, maybe you could buy off the rack and have it tailored.
