they just want attention..why do people hate preps, people think were spoiled for working their...working my a** off all week to buy some clothes is NOT spoiled hello who do u see working at sonic its the preppy people not no darn emos , they think we follow the trends..well black is sooooooooo depressing HELLO there are WAY more colors than BLACK!!!! ok and ima prep so i follow what every one else does Bull SH*T ! Preppy people set paths for people to follow if people hate preps so bad then why do they try to be just like them...**not the emo or goths they're to pathetic**.... and i do haved a few emo friends so yea im so Da*n horrible .

you do follow trends. Ex: you prolly only shop at the "hottest" stores. That have the "hottest" clothes. You're following that stores trends. And maybe if you opened your eyes for once in your life and dont prejudce a whole click of people you would realize that not of all of them wear black. The ones in my high school have the best art, write the best music, play the best instruments, etc. They unlike you think outside the box of fashion. And maybe you're not spoiled but your prolly the kid who makes fun of "emos" then when they stand up toyou you get scared. Thats prolly why you have a few emo friends. Honestly, I work in fast food and theres no "preppy" girl there. We are saving up money for college. Maybe your parents will help but ours dont. So if you're not spoiled you might as well save up for college. Because those 180 dollar jeans arent going to get your college money.

There are more than one group of people in the world who are thinking about suicide and it has nothing to do with the friends they have, the way the dress or the music you listen to.

We didnt have EMO kids when I was in highschool (it wasn't THAT long ago!), just goths. Are they like the same? They seem like trendy goth kids? eh well, I don't think anyone should put themself in a 'group'. Just wear whatever you think is cute and makes you feel good about yourself. If you always try to label yourself and never step outside the box you'll miss out. Be "preppy" one day and "bohemian" the next, or whatever. Don't be so worried about labels. Who cares?? Seriously!

well basically its stereotypes. which i hate with a firey burning passion. i have a buttload of emo friends, basically all my friends are. and its not because they want attention, trust me its not. its because of somethings that happened in their life that makes them depressed and black just represents that i guess. but its there opinion and i suggest you respect that. and with preps, people only think preps are spoiled if they act spoiled. if they go and brag about how they got new things. that just pisses people off and causes them to judge. but i would suggest you stop stereotyping cuz it doesnt do anything for anyone. just respect people and there opinions and the way they dress or act. in home ec in 7th grade there was this boy and he was kind of emo. never talked to anyone. but i sat next to him and started talking to him. he was hilarious. he was just depressed because his mother had died a couple years ago and he had to watch her suffer. two weeks after his mom died his grandma died. and his dad had been cheating on his mom before she got sick. it was just a big mess and he never thought he could talk to anyone about it. i started talkign to him online and on the phone all the time and then we starting hanging out. hes my boyfriend now, and the love of my life. people arent always what you expect them to be. hes doing so much better now and doesnt dress "emo" anymore. he just dressed like that because it showed how he felt. he just needed someone to talk to and tell them how he felt. he didnt have anyone to talk to since his mom was dead and his dad had been cheating on her and thats why he was mad at his dad. i was there for him to talk to. and hes doing better than ever. just try not to judge people cuz its a big deal with me. cuz like i said a lot of my friends are "emo" but they are the nicest people in the world.

so...what is your question? i guess "emos" just threaten to kill themselves to see if they will get a reaction from people. If they do, then they're not worth nothing. If everyone ignores them, then they feel like their life is meaningless and no one would care if they died anyways. That's my thought anyways.
