What do you think of Max Factor's foundations? I'm using Colour adapt now, it's pretty good, but I'd like to try something else. What do you recommend me? Thanks!

I had some difficulties with Max Factor, as in it would be blotchy and the color was never right. So, I went a little more expensive route and have been totally satisfied with the results. I now wear Bare Minerals. Its coverage is awesome and it blends beautifully into my skin tone. It's also great for the skin too! I noticed after about 2 weeks of use that my skin was softer and smoother. I really love this stuff. You can get it from Bare Essentials or buy it in Sephora stores. The basic set (2 foundation colors, mineral veil, and 3 brushes) costs around $60. It really is worth it.

I have used different foundations from Mary Kay, Estee Lauder, and over the counter ones. Then I discovered Bare Minerals.
The difference from liquid to powder is incredible. Never again will I use or can I ever think of using liquid foundation. I absolutely love the powder foundation.

Clinique - it is expensive, but if you have sensitive skin and do not wear full make up every day, it's worth the extra $$
Sometimes I use the Maybeline mousse- gives very smooth finish, and is good if your skin tends to break out
The max factor foundation that is sold together with a primer works well if you need long lasting make up

Loving the way Almay is working for me right now.....Can't find an exact match so I'm blending it with an Estee Lauder foundation and it's perfect! Just be sure to get one that takes into consideration your skin type. Good Luck!

Try one of the mineral-based powder products. I've tried Sheer Cover, Bare Minerals with good results but they are pricey. Neutrogena and several other "drugstore" companys have launched MBPs as well. I just purchased Neureogena's "Sheer Minerals" for less than a third of the price of SC or BM and it works beautifully and can be easily toted in your purse.

I use max factor's translucent powder, and I'm satisfied. Lancome has great foundations, but it's more expensive.

I really like Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. Its really light and never looks caked on and blends well.

I would totally reccommend Clinique! I've been using it for 2 years now, and I love it! But before you run to the mall to buy it, its pretty expensive stuff, so make sure you find something that is within your price range.
