If you are missing critical windows files, and you have a spyware problem, I suggest reinstalling your Operating System.

Once you have that done, use these things to keep your system safe:

Spybot search and destry, www.download.com

AVG Free Edition, www.grisoft.com

Firefox web browser, www.getfirefox.com

Yahoo! toolbar for popups, www.yahoo.com

This is the combination of software I use, and if you keep your programs updated, you will be virus/spyware free. I haven't had a single instance of spyware in 6 months, and I view lots of webpages and download lots of stuff.

well the good news is, it didn't delete it all together, just maybe that option ..... try using command instead. its the same program. cmd is like the "user friendly" version haha .... I'm pretty sure it didn't delete your command prompt altogether. Thats got to be a windows requirement. .... have you tried looking in the C: >windows > system 32 folder?
