I take it you are in need of some cash. first of all, theres alot more to it than just selling an egg. You are given hormone injections to increase your egg output and several eggs are taken from your body, in hopes that at least one can be a viable fetus someday. You also have to pass a comprehensive physical to make sure you are super healthy. If you drink or smoke, you are not a good candidate for egg donation. If you have any chronic healthy problems, or family history of certain diseases or disorders, you are not a good candidate for egg donation. You really should want to do this only if you are super healthy and out of the kindness of your heart, not for financial gain.

It can be anywhere from $3,000 to $9,000. I've also heard of people making $50,000 or more, usually by becoming directly involved with a family who are looking for an egg donor. Families can be willing to spend a lot for an egg donor who meets their needs.

Things you should know:
1. It's not "selling" an egg, it's "donating" an egg.
2. If you apply to do it, don't tell them you're doing it for the money.
3. Be prepared for a long and involved process. You have to inject yourself with hormones for months. There will be side effects.
4. Asian and Jewish egg donors are in high demand. Also, people are looking for donors who are tall, attractive, athletic and have high SAT scores.

Check the classified ad sections of college newspapers to find fertility clinics or families who are looking for donors.
