when you go,do you keep your underwear on?and is there any type of underwear that is more suitable?any other tips for a bikini wax, would be good.thanks in advance.

My guess would be to go without knicker. I am sure the waxer will have see everything so nothing will shock her/him!

I suggest wearing a thong. Wear an older one, just in case wax gets on it. If you are just having the hair on the bikini line removed you shouldn't have to remove your panties. If you are having everything removed, it's easier just to remove them completely.
I won't lie to you and say it doesn't hurt. Unfortunatly, it does. You're pulling hair out. If you worried about it you can try using a topical anasthetic, although the skin must be completey free of oils for the wax to adhere to the skin. Take lot's of deep breaths while you are having it done! The hair follicles expand with oxygen making it less painful when the hair is removed.
In the end it's worth it!!! It looks nice and is smooth to the touch!

You take off your underwear before having it done but you do wear it right after. This goes for any shape of panties. If this is your first time trim the hairs short or it will feel like a hair pulling match.
I have been (zero hair) for three years now but if its your first time go for semi brazilian the thin visible line like a landing strip or charlie chaplin moustache. Decide after that if you would want the totally bald brazilian

Sometimes they give you a "paper thong" to wear, it just depends on you. What type of wax do you want. I suggest taking it all off. It feels pretty good and the grow back is even. Just call the salon ahead of time and ask them. They are very good at answering sensitive questions.

in the salon i work in we put paper tissue in the outside of the underwear to protect them but some places use disposable under . wear a underwear that you can see the area you want waxed

you wear you underwear, it just gets pulled to the side a bit, don't shave your bikini line before you have it waxed, it is more painfull, make the effort and get waxed, after a while less hair grows back and it becomes less painfull

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Yes, I keep my underwear on. I wear an old thong, I think it's the most suitable.

Use the hair removal lotion specificly for that ...that way u dont have to go wax it.....i use the lotion specificly fot that and it works excellent ...... u should try that instead !! yep yep
