ive been wanting to get a tattoo on my back for ages and i recently thought about getting a pair of angel wings done they would go from my shoulders and finish on the top of my **** cheeks, i want them to look life size otherwise they would look stupid! but im still not sure!

They wouldn't look life like would they because they would have to be wider than your back. If you're not sure then don't listen to anyone here, you are the only one who can make that decision

I'm not sure the proportions would look right if you had them that long. The usual angel wings are tattood on just the shoulder blades and looks nice but that long might deform them a little. Get a friend to sketch the design in rough with a pen on your back to decide and spend at least three months thinking after you choose the real design. This is what I do every time I get a tattoo. Remember you will have to live with it for the rest of your life as people always say.

I you want really big wings on your back go for it, but remember a tattoo is for life and would you still want this on your back when your gone 50!. Also the back is a very painful place to get a tattoo done....Ive had a little tattoo on the bottom of my back and it killed!
If you want wings but are not sure about the size, Kelly Osbourne has 2 small wings on her back one on each shoulder blade and they look very nice.....Good luck

I honestly think it's kinda trashy. I mean I don't have anything against tattoos at all, but that's not even original nor hold a deeper meaning. It's like a step up from a tramp stamp and it's like the female equivalent to tribal arm bands. And it doesn't matter if the woman was an Atheist or not it's not like it would mean anything even if she was Christian.

tattoos are a personal choice u must live with so choose carefully. With that said, if the wings is what you like and it is something you wish to have, go for it. Make sure to pick a clean place and a reputable tattoo artist.

Listen to Barry G! Also, Angel wings are not very original. The woman who tattooed me has 'em HUGE down her back. Who knows how many other people have the same thing.

Large Angel wings on your back?? - It don't sound like a good look to me & if you are a girl it will look hideous if you sport a strapless or backless top or dress & the older you get the more nasty it would look but thats just my opinion - whatever floats your boat!

It sounds cool but make sure it is what you REALLY want. Something that big and permanent requires major thinking. Give it 2 weeks. If you still want to then its a go. If you're still not sure--- Don't do it. That will stay with you a long time so it would really suck if you later regretted it.

The idea of getting a fake 1 first is well gd. cos u can have it for bout 8 weeks untill it fades away. then if you liked it get a permanent 1 put on. It sound gd though but they mite look a bit small.

that would look well smart just now but give it 20 years and it will all start blending together and look a mess.my granda had a few on his arms but when he got older they looked horrible and you couldn`t read the names or even tell what they were supposed to be,they were just big ugly blurs!!! i have a few i got done years ago and are starting to look yucky already but they are places i can hide,but you are talking about a big part of your body. like i said though it does sound nice.xx
