no, as a matter of fact, it's probably the best water!! no lime, minerals, ect... i know for nightcrawlers, (I used to fish, and picked my own nightcrawlers after rain) tap water kills them. dehumidifier water is better than rain water.

Water from your dehumidifier is nearly as pure as distilled water - wont hurt your plants at all. There are no chemicals or metals in it.

I hate to disagree with everyone. It won't hurt plants but it sure isn't clean. Consider the fact that the one coil will collect and concentrate impurities in the air as well as algie if not properly maintained. It definetly isn't better than rain water.

No it is great. That water is free of impurities and chemicals so no minerals will build up in the plant's soil.
