I have recently been receiving anonymous text messsages from someone claiming to be my secret admirer. He stated that he is a coworker and he thinks I'm the most beautiful women he's every met and he knows I have feelings for him. He asked me to leave the father of my children whom I've been with for 6 years. After a series of about 35 messages during my weekend off work, he declared his undying love for me and asked me to prove mine. When I went back to work, I was sure I knew who it was but I was too scared to confront him, so I pretended like I was peachy and acted normal. I hoped he would catch the hint that I wanted to pretend it never happened and move on so I don't have to quit my job. Unfortunately I have continued to receive more. I don't know what to do and I am starting to get scared. I have never mislead the man into thinking I would cheat or that I was even interested. We work in a restaurant so everyone jokes around but I'd never cross the line. I think he's crazy, help!

I'm not sure how but he has blocked the number he is texting from. I know he also used an online messaging service which doesn't accept replies because the sender shows as donotreply@txt2day.com. My husband has known about everything from the beginning. We keep no secrets. He is struggling to keep from beating him up because he doesnt want to jeopordize my job. I felt bad for him at first because he made it sound like he just had a crush but it got heavy when love was brought into it. The last text was today and he said he was sick of me because I couldnt do this little thing of proving my love for him. He said my man is ugly and a piece of sh*t unworthy of me. I hope this is the end of his texts but should I still take action and go to my boss and the cops?

Stop replying, period. You don't need to explaing anything to him. Maybe he will then get the hint. Don't ruin your life over someone you don't really know. Instead, focus your energy on your own marriage and how to get it spiced up again. It's not easy being a single parent and putting your children through a separation or divorce. If he is persistent, then go to your manager and report harrasment, get it documented.

Good Luck

Well if he's still writing you and you haven't said anything abck to him, then he should've got the hint by now. BUT if you have said something to him then he's probably looking at it as an invitation to keep chasing after you. All it is is a matter of telling him to leave you alone. You don't have to be rude about it, just tell him to please leave you alone and that if he doesn't then you're going to get the authorities involved, that way he's been warned. If he doesn't leave you alone, do just that, tell the authorities. There's a way to find out who the phone number belongs to, and they could find him and do whatever needs to be done to him so that he leaves you alone.

sounds like you may have a case of harrassment on your hands. If you did not lead this guy on or you did not give him the wrong impression then I would report this to the police and let the mfind out who is doing this.Make it clear you are happy with your husband and are not accepting this clowns idea of a FUN time or game. You do not love him and you wish him to stop. Courts have order people to seek help for this issues and to STOP the contact between to parties involved.I would not stand for any crap like this. Its called a restraining order , let this clown know this is not funny and you do not care for crap like this at all.

I'm sure you know who he is. There is caller ID. Tell him you will report him to the police and show them his messages to you.
