In my hometown college, CMU's (Central Michigan University) football team went out to a bar after a victory. At the bar the beat up a guy and he ended up dying because of it. The trial was always being postponned until, coincidently, right after football season. The football team then got off with three months because "they didn't mean to kill him". I think that is a bunch of crap. If you swing a baseball bat and accidentally hit someone with it and kill him/her you will still be charged with murder.
What are your thoughts on this?

It's horrible that something like that happened, football and football players are useless to society, they should have been charged with manslaughter.
