took it out and cut off its head with a knife really quick i didnt want the poor animal to bleed to death but i feel horrible is that a sin or something was it wrong i mean i couldnt jsut let it bleed to death

I know you thought you were doing the right thing, so dont let your concious eat itself up. You just didnt want the poor baby to suffer. Next time, let the mother do her own thing. Hamsters will eat or kill their young if there is something wrong with it. Its cruel but its true. Just dont separate the other babies from the mom until they are older, whatever you do, because they wont have a chance. (separate daddy though because he might kill them all)

This is why normal people do not keep hamsters, or any other rodents, as pets. They are vile, disgusting creatures that make us do horrible things.
Get a nice ratsnake. They eat hamsters. Problem solved, and you have a very cool pet.

i have hamsters same thing happened to 1 of mine it was just fine its still legless but not headless...its able to walk and everything too...may i ask why you cut off its head u could have waited to find out or let her finish its natural that they eat their babies

you should have let the mother take care of it, she knew what she was doing & the baby had something wrong with it.

its ok you didnt want it to suffer! take the babies AWAY from the mom if she hurts a nother baby. dont worry i bet if you were it you would want the pain to be over to. Its ok!
