You cannot mix SDRAM and DDRAM as memory. Best thing to do is to add another RAM card of the same type. Make sure the clock speed is the same (e.g. PC100, PC133, etc) as the original RAM specs.

There are two ways of speeding up your PC:
1. upgrade your RAM
- If you're looking for a brand new SDRAM card for your PC, you may find difficulty in finding for one since this is already out of production. In this case, you may want to scout for this in a used PC store or electronics/computer surplus shops.

2. upgrade your hard disk
- Upgrading your hard disk to one which has a higher RPM (revolutions per minute) rating would certainly help in speeding up your PC. getting a new hard disk (or formatting your existing hard disk) will more or less restore it to its original speed.

Good luck!
