can male sign up for cheerleaders in high school?

YES.I would encourage any guy to try-out for cheerleading.Our high school had a few guys here and there over the years.But still, if you have the chance,GO FOR IT!!!!.My mother never would allow me to try-out for it.She is too old-fashioned.
I promote cheerleading as a sport!!!and it needs guys that are man enough help.Cheerleading is very hard work,and it doesn't make you gay.Anyone that thinks that is insecure or jealous they aren't on the squad.All they best looking girls are on the squad.
Cheerleaders are also some of the smartest in the school.I hate the stereotype that society has placed on them.Several in my hometown have very successful businesses and careers.One teaches Dance in her own studio.Another was Miss Missouri,teaches in our high school and owns two dance studios(the other one in our town and another one in a neighboring town).Enough said -go for it !

I think males on high school teams are a minority. Many high school just have girls on the team, some have guys but not many. More male cheerleaders cheer for college. I dont think the cheerleading squad would discriminate against males trying out for high school. so if you were thinking about it what do you have to lose?

No there sure arent. But there can be! Equal rights (benefiting guys this time) have made huge strides so that guys cant be discriminated against when wanting to be cheerleaders.IMO its because more guys choose not to. The biggest reason more guys dont try out, is that they are worried about being thought of as gay. When in reality, he would be the smartest straight guy around... Surrounded by all the best looking girls in school!

OH no you dont want to be a cheerleader. One day you might want to be president and look what we have now, he was a cheerleader too.

yes in high school yes but in pop warner no guy can be a cheerleader

yes they can in my high there was a male cheerleader but he graduated this year (but he was GAY)

guys can sign up there arnt any guy cheerleaders in my school cuz they arnt man enough or the fact theyre all rednecks

Yes tey can. My uncle and my cuz did cheerleadingwhen they were in high skool
