How about instead of playing a "Simulation" of what it is to live real life, you were to actually live your life the best way it could be. I mean, imagine you were playing the Sims 2 and your characters were playing on the computer.... all day.... that's kind of boring, eh? Do yourself what you think you would want your Sims to do and your life will certainly be more rewarding.

And, if in the end you still want the game, often discount stores like Ross, Marshalls, or even the library will have the game that you can buy for really cheap, or at the library borrow and copy.

I would but I'm constantly getting new computers and I need my sims to get by.
