I would suggest starting with solid basic English skills, assuming you are in the states. My understanding of accounting is that you will need a whole session of classes, just look at your local community college. If you are in HS, just stay in path with the required courses and take elective accounting courses if offered.

Two semesters of Principles of Accounting, two semesters of Intermediate Accounting, a semester of Advanced Accounting, two semesters of Management/Cost Accounting, at least one semester of Business Law, two semesters of Economics, one semester of Statistics, one semester of Business Ethics. That's just the basics. You'll need some college level algebra as well, along with other various business classes.
