Good for you! This one is easy: go to http://www.socialsecurity.gov, and there is information on their website as to how you can verify social security numbers against names. You can do up to 10 at a time on a screen, so the whole process will probably take you about 15-20 minutes-time well spent!

You cant say their numbers checked out, then say they 'seem illegal', but anyway if you are not sure just contact the relevent authorities to double checke their status.

"seem" illegal? I'm not even sure I know that that means. I think you are judging people based on language and appearance and it would be best if you try and possibly educate your self on all of the different kinds of people that are Americans.
