well if we were to have minimum wage up to a place where people could live and support there selves most small businesses would have shut down unfortunately but this is reality and if your working a minimum wage job it will take two jobs to survive or both parents in a family. As for amount well it has been a very long time since it has raised so to catch up to inflation i would say $8.00 an hr any more of a raise would shut most small operations down and destroy our economy whats is left of it..

I believe it should be $7.50 for High School students 18 and younger and for Adults who are trying to survive in this world today $10.00 per hour. Any adult trying to make it on thier own has bills IE: rent,utilities,ect.. how can they survive on less than $10.00 per hour and actually that is still not enough but you have to put a cap on it somewhere becasue if you didn't than why would people want to go to college to better themselves.

Wages should be tied to something like how many hambergers an hour it will buy. This is the only way to know if your income is going up or down. So a man and his wife will need six meals a day so how many hours should one work for six meals.

I think it should be $5.00 for people under 18, $7.50 for under 21, and $10.00 for everyone else because of needs that people at these ages have plus what they personally can bring to the plate based on their age and maturity.
