I am a certified technician on both toshiba and apple products and there are several reasons I recommend anything apple. First is the level of hardware devlopment. Everything on the apple is designed for durability for the lifetime of the product, they are designed to take a beating and just work, second the toshiba fails more often than the apple and they are just not as well designed physically. Second is the OS, yes windows is good, but the mac is better for security.
