Yes you can just keep fixing your mistakes and maybe it wouldn't be a mistake not to mention you record. unless it is a bank or police service or something . most employers don't really check to see if you have a criminal record so maybe you should put it behind you to Good luck

It will be a tough road for you. But if you are determined it can happen for you. Being a receptionist may be tough for you with a burglary conviction. Receptionists often are the first line of defense for keeping the wrong people out of a company. It's actually a lot responsibility and some companies that deal with defense will probably not be interested in some with a criminal past.
You might want to look at some other types of jobs in the manufacturing world --- such as quality control, light industrial assembly, etc.
Good luck to you.

I think that you have a hard road still ahead of you and that background qualifications are hard now a days to get past. A burglary felony will block you for a long time from jobs that have access to money. Telemarketing/Phone Customer Service in a call center maybe a more likly job to build your reputation.

I think if you are going to school for anything it should be for something better than a receptionist position. Not all positions do a criminal background check - when a criminal check is done it is only done in counties and states where you show that you have lived. Just do not report the county in which you served time.

You can do it. It takes time but you will be able to live a normal life only if you truly want to. Over all it is up to you. I have seen it done. I have seen people who have done worse than you change their lives. Their will always be those few people who will always judge you for what you have done, but it is how you handle those people that will make a different. You need to let people know that you know you made past mistakes but have learned from them...if you truly have learned from your mistakes. There are many people out there who are will to give you a chance to help you change your life around. It is what you do with those chances that will stir your future. Again, it is all up to you. If you want a normal life it is up to you. You need to believe in yourself before others do. Good luck. I'm pulling for you!

To be honest, you may have trouble finding employment until more time has passed. But, there are options. You could talk to your sponser, parole officer, or other agencies that specialize in finding work for people in your situation. I applaud you for turning your life around and wish you the very best of luck.

I don't think you stand a chance seeing how the rest of us are completely perfect and have absolutely no sin at all.We never even swear,But in all honesty you are always one of us and actions do not change that.We all fall short in one way or another. So stop getting down because you fell,Get back up on that horse and hang in there.May God bless You.

You are not the kind of felon I worry about. I am concerned about people who were in prison for violence. You will do just fine. I hope you apply to get your citizenship back as soon as you can. But till you have shown that you have changed, you should not be allowed to vote.

It will be a little more difficult for you, but I think you will be fine. As long as the employers see you as changed now, and knowing your crime was non-violent, they will be OK about it.
If anyone doubts you, prove them wrong. You might start lower on the totem pole, but stay clean and stay positive, you will go far.
Good luck Hon!
