NORTON is g a r b a g e !!!
It conflicts with too many other programs, causes problems with your pc, slows performance down;
and still lets problems through. Been there!
Not to mention it is costly.

protection, I've been running for 2 years, and even have an AVG convert. You'll appreciate this product immensley. It catches everything, and is not a hog...you can leave it running all the time. Avast.com
ALSO download Ad-aware. Also free. Run that at least once a week if you surf a lot...it picks up 99% of spyware.

Download AVG free from www.grisoft.com. Just make sure you update it every 24 hours. Norton is good but it is considered a resource hog for home users. You can get a NAV trialware good for 15 days but after that, you'd need to buy the package. I suggest, too, that you get a firewall (try Zone Alarm from zonelabs) and anti-malware/anti-spyware (SpyBot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware SE and Ewido are what I use) programs.

there r many, and i had lots of problem with norton and avg, and later i downloaded an antivirus called AVAST, it's good and also has a recorded voice of a male to alert u when there is an infected fils, it's free, easy to use and now i have no probs with my comp. go to avast.com, explore it and download free home edition anti-virus software, it's very useful

i highly recommend norton computer protection it has everything, antivirus, antispam,antiadware,antispyware...everything. im so gratefull i got this because its stopped viruses from destroying my computer through music, videos, and files ifve downloaded. and it lets you know exactly what everything is it explains it and gives you definitions so you dont feel confused when it tells you its gonna delete something harmfull. another good thing is it asks you if you want to delete it but trust me when it says "virus"...delete it
