I am going to sing a solo while playing the piano in church. I want to sing a southern gospel song that isn't to difficult to play...songs like Because He Loved Me, Who Am I? When He was on the cross are a few examples. Do you know anymore....If you don't please don't answer this question with I hate Southern gospel...thanks!

Hey Paino_Player u should try some Bethany Dillon, shes a little more contemporary, but if u wanna do the homerun, for your presentation n specially for God, u have to try Shawn Mcdonald, he is as southern as I can go, n has some very good piano parts in his songs.

I recently attended a southern gospel singing where they performed a song by Randy Travis.The song is called 'Three Wooden Crosses". I felt like it was an awsome song.

I don't know how southern it is, but my favorite has always been "In The Garden". The Statler brothers did a version of it years ago.
