You're in a shoe shop, second in the queue for the till. Behind the
shop assistant on the till is a pair of shoes which you have seen and which
you must have.
The female shopper in front of you has seen them also and is eyeing
them with desire.
Both of you have forgotten your purses.
It would be totally rude to push in front of the first woman if you
had no money to pay for the shoes.
The shop assistant remains at the till waiting.
Your friend is trying on another pair of shoes at the back of the shop
and sees your dilemma.
She prepares to throw her purse to you.
If she does so, you can catch the purse, then walk round the other
shopper and buy the shoes.
At a pinch she could throw the purse ahead of the other shopper and,
*whilst it is in flight* you could nip around the other shopper, catch
the purse and buy the shoes.
Always remembering that until the purse had *actually been thrown* it
would be plain wrong to be forward of the other shopper.
Dear Girls - you have just learned the offside rule

If the ball comes from behind the player, and the player doesn't have at least 2 people in his way to the goal (including the keeper) that makes an offside. This is the main topic.
Exceptions:
-you're not offside if you don't try to play the ball, regardless of you being in the priorly mentioned position.
-if the ball comes from an opposing player, the rule doesn't apply as well.
Good luck with the show off!

A player is offside when he is nearer to the opponents goal line than both the ball and the second last opponent at the moment the ball is played.
He is NOT offside if he is deemed in the referee's Opinion:
He is not interfering in active play. ( i.e. If he is standing at the corner flag and the ball is played through the middle).
Just concentrate on the first bit and it should be that simple.

If you're however struggling to boost you are straight and you're hoping to get your hands above the rim, put Vert Shock to the test, a course you will find it here https://tr.im/oI5Af and provide it a take to, you will be astonished of how fast you can be a monster hopper in the event that you prepare the proper way.
This system will not cause you to leap thousands of situations because Vert Shock was developed and utilized by actual elite level basketball players.
When it comes right down to it, if you really want to leap larger, you only found the best process on earth to complete so. Any other way would only be a spend of time.

I think you should give the best answer (10 points) to Fiona and her shoe store explanation.
I am an American fan of football (or soccer as we call it).
Even though I knew what offsides was, I really enjoyed that answer!!!

A player is offside if when the ball is passed to him by one of his own players in the other teams half and there are no players between him and the oppositions' goalie. (BTW a player can only be offiside once he interferes with play)

when someone passes the ball to another player on their team, but that person is behind all the defenders (meaning the goalie is the only person in front of him), that's called offsides.
