That country is on the brink of civil war. It could get very messy (with or without US presence. Actually, worse without US presence). I would not plan a visit there any time soon.

Yes, there is no question it will be going in 3 years. It is a quagmire. However, I'm not sure if it will be stabilizing or getting worse.
