Of course no. Camels are found in areas as the pyramids, where tourists can have a ride around (desert). But they are not seen in Cairo streets.

On some occasions near the pyramids camels may be seen on the streets nearby. But their function is to provide camel rides for the tourists in the desert around the pyramids.

When you are in Nazlet Al-Samman, the neighborhood where the pyramids are located, you sometimes see camels and horses in the streets because people living in this area breed these animals and let tourists ride them in return for some money. But it is very rare to see camels in the streets in other parts of the country.

When I was Cairo years ago, I saw some camel riders on some of the city streets. It was quite wild, actually, seeing regular cars mixed in with animal driven vehicles, etc.

Cairo is one of the world's great megacities. As beautiful as it is mad, and as abundant with historic finery as it is half dilapidated, Cairo tends to be an area that travellers love and hate in similar actions so discover by which band you will soon be with assistance from this place hotelbye . In Cairo you will find, beyond the modern hubbub, a record that spans centuries. Saturated in vigour, Cairo is wherever you actually get a sense for Egyptian block living and no trip to Egypt is total with no stay static in the town Arabs contact Umm al-Dunya (The Mother of the World). The positively unbelievable number of antiquities shown in Cairo's Egyptian Museum makes it one of many world's great museums and certainly a place for everyone's to visit.

Not really as riding as a mode of transport.
You can see them walking in the street as a herd on the way to the slaughter house.
You can have rides close to tourist areas, eg. pyramids area
